We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To deliver your weekly In The Clear Digest email briefing
- To manage your subscription and process payments
- To send transactional emails (welcome, renewal confirmation, payment notifications, cancellation confirmation)
- To maintain our subscriber records in Airtable
- To improve the content and relevance of the digest

5. Third parties we share data with
We use the following third-party services to operate In The Clear Digest. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf:

- Airtable — subscriber database. Subscriber records including name, email, and subscription details are stored in Airtable. Airtable Privacy Policy
- Make.com (Integromat) — automation platform used to connect our systems. Data passes through Make.com when you subscribe, renew, or cancel. Make.com Privacy Policy
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
6. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as you have an active subscription. If you cancel, we retain your basic records for up to 7 years to comply with HMRC financial record-keeping requirements. Email engagement data is retained for up to 2 years.
You may request deletion of your data at any time (subject to our legal obligations) by emailing hello@inthecleardigest.co.uk.

Some of our third-party processors (including Brevo, Stripe, Airtable, and Make.com) may store or process data outside the UK. Where this occurs, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved under UK GDPR.
